The Indiana Live Steamers welcome out of town guests on a regular basis. This page is made available for our guests that either prefer to stay in hotels or want to visit for a few days and leave the RV at home.
Ediburgh, the town closest to the track, has several lodging choices. For those who may want something a little more historic, we have included one hotel in Nashville, Indiana.
Note: Some of the Edinburgh Choices may be listed as the Taylorsville Exit location.

While in town, you or your spouse may want to take a break from train playing and visit the very large Edinburgh Premium Outlets or take a short country drive to Nashville, IN to enjoy a historic arts town, situated in the middle of Brown County, one of Indiana's most beautiful places.
If you or your spouse likes to golf when not riding trains, the Whispering Pines Golf Course is part of the Johnson County Parks system and a short walk from the track. Finally, for those of you all who have an interest in smaller trains, the Columbus Area Railroad Club is also located at Johnson County Park.
Always pack a swimsuit... If it is warm during the meet, you may want to go for a dip at Lake Cottonwood, which is located inside the park and about one-half mile from the track. It boasts the only public swimming beach in Johnson County and is open Thursday thru Sunday only, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. weather permitting. Complete with a shelter, playground, restroom-shower facility and concessions. Cost is $2 per person; children 10 and under $1.00.
