This is the man that helps keep all of the club accounts straight. That's right, Clarence serves as the Treasurer for the club. He took over the job and helped the club survive after Charlie Bauer passed away in September of 2001. He is very friendly to our public passengers and gets a kick out of seeing the smiles on the children's faces. Clarence always makes himself available to help any time he can. He is a gentleman and truly enjoys the the hobby.

Dave is one of the old timers. A member of ILS since 1985, he has served as President of the club in the past. He is a general building contractor and can be seen at the track helping mix concrete and helping with various other construction projects. He is building an Allen Models 10 Wheeler on his home shop equipment, which consists of a mill, lathe, and band saw. |

Hard work is the name of the game for this kitchen and bath remodeler. A member of ILS since 1997, Bill has one of the nicest steamers in the entire club and he is quite proud of it. There is more information about this engine and its history under the locomotives page of this website. Bill has his own machine shop and that classifies him as someone you need to know. |
|
|
John and Betty Lime - The absolutely coolest thing about John is that he is a Pearl Harbor Survivor. If you are a WWII buff, John does share his experiences of being at Wheeler Field that infamous day. Despite his age, he makes almost every meet of the year. When he is not playing trains, he volunteers at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Newly married in 2007 to Betty. His favorite engine is the Union Pacific Challenger.

Pete is a true rail fan from the word go! He is so interested in Railroads in general, that he not only decided to build a 15 unit Triple Crown RoadRailer model in 1/8 scale, he has been building his own railroad for the past 9 years. This railroad, the New Unionville and Western, is headquartered in Bloomington, Indiana and sits on approximately fifty acres. |

Kirk boxed up all of his HO scale trains in the fall of 2002 after attending a meet at the Annetta Valley and Western railroad, near Fort Worth, TX. After relocating to Indiana, he joined the ILS club in the spring of 2005. Kirk prefers modern rolling stock, but is really interested in building a steam engine. His favorite steamers are NYC Hudsons, NKP Berks, and SP Mikados. Kirk says, "the best part of the live steaming hobby is that his wife and two sons love to ride the trains almost as much as he does. All four of them take their camper and trains to various meets throughout the year. |
