Thanks for for visiting the For Sale Page for the Indiana Live Steamers.
From the Detroit area - Robert Curran (rwcurranjr@sbcglobal.net)
The estate of my late father has a steam fired 3-1/2" gauge 4-4-2 (perhaps Atlantic class) Locomotive and tender for sale. The actual train had an art deco influence from the 1940's and the "shark fin" style (similar to the PRR T1 of the 40's). The model is about 85% complete with all remaining parts included. My father suffered several strokes after he purchased this, which left him unable to complete the model. We believe he bought this around 1995 from the son of the original builder after he passed. We would like it to go to a good home, since no one in the family is into model railroading. We will accept the best offer.
The engine is 3'-2" long, 8" wide and 11" high. The oil tender is 2' long, 8" wide and 11" high. This is a live steam engine with the proper mechanicals. The engine and tender are not completed, needing paint and trim. There is also a wooden base with ballast and track on top of the ballast on which to display the two.
I have photos, which I can email upon request. It is available for inspection in the Detroit, Michigan area. If you might be interested please contact us. We would be most appreciative.

Currently For Sale:
Bridges from the Mt. Nebo layout
The first seven photos you see pictured show the bridges in their glory days. These bridges worked great for us for many years. There are five (5) spans being offered in this sale. The steel (Bar Joist Roof Trusses) trusses and decking are the only items we have for sale. The trestle bents no longer exist. The ILS will sell the spans separately. When the bridges were in service, they were all used on the same gorge. After the Mt. Nebo track was dismantled in the late 1990s, the bridges were moved to the storage compound at Johnson County Park. The club initially had plans to use the spans, but they just do fit into the layout we currently operate.

The span in this first picture you see is 12' 6" long by 6' 8" wide. It is built for double track. Three joists, steel rail, and bridge decking will come as part of the bridge. The Indiana Live Steamers is asking $150.00 for this unit. The buyer must pick this unit up at the Indiana Live Steamers track near Edinburgh, Indiana.
